Remnant Music Updates

Gwen Shamblin has said many times that the music inspired by this Message helps to keep her encouraged and focused throughout each day, and Saints from around the world have echoed those sentiments thru the years.  The great news is that the music and recordings just keep coming.  A few weeks ago we here in Nashville had a live worship music recording in the Sanctuary that spanned over 2 nights.  All of the band performances, vocals, and crowd participation turned out great and very blessed by God.  Since then, David Martin, BB Barcus and crew have been sifting thru the tracks and now are getting down to the mixing and editing process.  What this means is that we’re only a few weeks away from an official “release” of Remnant Fellowship’s first ever LIVE worship project.  Not only will this be encouraging to Remnant members, but it’s also a great evangelistic tool- for instance this album would make a great Christmas gift for a friend or family member.  The booklet inside will have all sorts of great information about the church and photos, ect… You get the picture.  Keep praying for this project.

Once the live worship album’s out, we’ve got an instrumental project on the way.  This has been on Gwen’s heart for years to get the Saints some music to listen or worship with that doesn’t have words.  The CD will represent a variety of easy listening songs that have been written by various Remnant musicians.  Great for dinner music, devotional, or quiet times.

Lastly, now that we’re into November, it’s that time of year again to pull out your Christmas music.  Don’t forget we have our very own “The Only Tree That Matters” double CD project.  This has 20 songs on it, many of them featuring our Remnant choir as well as songs with Elizabeth Hannah, David Martin, Julie Radebaugh, Anna Ledley, Jolinda Crisman and more…  We praise God for giving us the amazing variety of music in this place.

Also, important to remember that if God gives you a song, you can submit that via e-mail to remnantfellowshipmusic@gmail.com and the Music Team will review those submissions.  This Remnant music really is the soundtrack to our lives!
