A HUGE part of making this CONNECTION with God Almighty – having a loving, wholehearted relationship with Him – is being in constant COMMUNICATION with Him. Both Weigh Down Ministries and the Remnant Fellowship Church were founded upon this personal relationship with God. Gwen emulated the love and passion and obedience that she saw in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son…and in her own relationship with God, she saw answered prayer after blessing after answered prayer after blessing…and she SHARED that relationship and those “jewels” with the world! NOW – Literally MILLIONS of people around the world have heard about this message. Our continued prayer is that more and more would find it and would give God everything as a result of putting these beautiful teachings and this example into practice. When this CONNECTION is made, who wouldn’t want the kind of enthusiastic, thrilling, humble, and thankful kind of relationship with God that Gwen describes in her Post? Brian Emerson – Brian currently works for Dell, Inc., and because of his 125 pound weight loss since beginning his Weigh Down and Remnant Fellowship journey, was nominated to get an award from the company. They surprised him in the office, gave him $1,000, and sponsored a shopping trip for him!
Josie Young – Josie was offered a new job at almost double her yearly wages! On top of that, it is a work-at-home position, which will enable her to keep my husband company during the day. From Josie – “God is truly more abundantly generous than I ever hoped. I just pray that this will be used for His purposes and not for indulgence. Thank you, everyone who prayed for me, and all praise to such a bountiful God!”
Heather Dyer – From Heather – “First, Mike (her husband) had decided that I would be able to stay home with the children (and homeschool our daughter Lucinda), which has been a desire for many years!!!! Upon turning in my resignation this year during a hard time for my company, my boss called me up told me how sorry she was to see me go, although she understood…given this new opportunity that I now had. Also, when my children were grown (she said) that I could come back! I truly was in disbelief…! Of course God deserves ALL praise for this! This was an unbelievable kiss from God! Thank you Gwen for teaching us how to get this favor and showing us how to persevere in not so easy situations.”
Chris Waterson – From Chris – “Praising God for these Days of Awe and time of introspection…as there has been much testing but also many blessings for obedience. Received my annual review at work the other day and it was a glory to God! I was glad to see areas that still need strengthening, but also areas where God’s light was shining bright! Not only did I receive a pay increase, but it was one that exceeded the maximum allotted! All praise to having an open heart willing to put this truth into practice, for leadership who set an example to follow and raise the bar for me, and for Gwen Shamblin, who was willing to stand for and teach God’s truth!!!!! Liz Lindenauer – From Liz – “Listed house (for sale) on Thursday, 8/9, offer on 8/16 which resulted in a sale. The people actually looked at the house and decided to buy on Tuesday, 8/14 – they came to the house twice, then we got the offer Thursday 8/16. So, basically it was only on the market 6 days before it sold. It sold for more than I paid for it AND sold AS IS in THIS ECONOMY!! AND I bought it during the inflated home prices era BEFORE the real estate bubble burst!! Second HUGE house praise – the contract almost fell through due to an HVAC contractor asked by the buyers to come out and check the unit at the house. Buyer’s realtor came back saying that the entire HVAC unit needed replacing for $6,300. Our dear brother Kelly Johnston came out on his own time and checked the unit for me and said only the heat exchanger needed to be replaced…and agreed that A/C was fine. I checked with the original installer from 1999, he was still in business, and he said that the Trane heat exchanger was under a TWENTY YEAR WARRANTY!! He checked with Trane and sure enough – NO CPST TO REPLACE!!!! Bottom line is God turned a $6,300 deal breaker on the HVAC into a $350 warranty job and the house IS SOLD!!! Please ask the congregation for continued prayers for a perfect job that God wants for me QUICKLY!! Thank you and love you all!!!”

Joel and Lori VanHuis – Asked for prayers to sell or rent their house and God blessed it within 3 days!
The list could, and in fact DOES, go on and on and on! As mentioned earlier, we will continue to share these blessings on a regular basis. It is so important that we give GOD all praise and glory for what He is doing in our lives. What we have learned and are continuing to learn here is PRICELESS…and we are seeing God move in miraculous ways…even in the middle of difficult financial, employment, real estate, and health-related times. Only God…once we commit to totally follow His commands and carry them out every day…can answer prayers and produce blessings like these. He is the “Maker of the Skies!” This all-powerful Creator can intervene…personally…in YOUR life as well! Watch and listen to this beautiful song to set your mind for the day…
