Remnant Fellowship Men take over the Connection Cafe!

This time of year…

you will find men gathering together to watch their favorite football team play, or gather for coffee to discuss the current political climate. But at Remnant Fellowship church you find men gathering for lunch to talk about the message given this last Sabbath, passing tests, seeking prayer to pass a test, or talk about how the RF Phoenix Flyers hockey team glorified God on the ice the night before. And not every man eats. The fellowship is food enough.

Sure, we may chat on football or politics, but you will see that those topics never dictate our mood. As we are taught through the leadership of Remnant Fellowship, our actions imitate Jesus Christ, who loved God the Father first, and sought out those in need to share the love of the Father with them. Young men greet older men with respect. Kind, encouraging words are spoken. Not one man feeling left out or forgotten. If anyone came with a heavy heart, he left feeling full of joy, being fed by the Spirit.

At my table, conversations around how to wait on God for everything, the next upcoming Remnant Fellowship wedding, job preparations, and family interactions were all had. All with an underlying current of peace. I speak for all the men at my table that we know we have found the answer to life filled with all the fruits of the Spirit. To be able to share this with fellow men adds to the bond of the Spirit, and gives us a glimpse into what Heaven will be like.

Men’s Lunch at the Connection Cafe

The pictures you see are a normal occurrence at Remnant Fellowship. Joyful fellowship that builds up and heals. Many thanks to young people at the Connection Café that served us today!

And much Love and Gratitude to God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and the leadership of Remnant Fellowship for all teaching us to be united in Spirit. It is exciting to know that as we continue to bond together, we are building up God’s Kingdom of Love on earth as it is in Heaven!!
