Learn More About Remnant Fellowship

Remnant Fellowship Church

Remnant Fellowship News is operated by the efforts of Remnant Fellowship Church members around the world, delivering thoughtful, encouraging stories of all that our magnificent God is doing through and among this Body of Believers.

Documented on this website are stories and pictures of Remnant Fellowship members—young and old alike—who are nothing short of modern-day miracles…a direct result from putting the Remnant Fellowship Church teachings into practice. People who once were full of anger, anxiety and addictions are now completely healed, free and full of joy! Marriages that at one time were on the brink of divorce are now completely restored. Children and youth who were once disillusioned and hopeless now have renewed purpose and are quite often recognized in the community for their exemplary character.  Put simply, the love for God and for our fellow man is genuine, infectious and life-changing.  Furthermore, the impact of these personal transformations are not only changing the course of our family histories but also impacting the world at large for the better.

The writers of Remnant Fellowship News would be very remiss to not document on this page the loving example and Christlike character of our founding Church leader, Gwen Shamblin Lara, who without a doubt, is truly one of the most selfless and compassionate individuals and leaders in modern history. She wholeheartedly and tirelessly works around the clock on behalf of others. If not for her, there would be no stories of changed lives of which to write, for this growing Remnant Fellowship Church community around the world have all benefited from her dedication to God’s work and her willingness to share the Truth that truly sets the captives free.

Although the Church members come from all walks of life with a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, all needs are met, lives are full of meaning, friendships are genuine, and the members lack for nothing.  There are over 45 service ministry groups in the Church, including ministries that help with moving, jobs, clothing, food, housing, activities, youth, education and so much more. Much like the early Church as described in the book of Acts, we are a close community that is eager to outdo one another in service and quickly extend love to our neighbor.

“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.” Acts 4:32

Our prayer, as you read through these articles, is that you personally find renewed HOPE.  In a day and age of much darkness and overwhelmingly depressing news, God is still very much at work among those who earnestly seek Him—individually and collectively—and the result is a very beautiful and blessed life!
