From time to time the office staff is made aware of an opportunity for us to bless this Church financially through our normal, daily spending and/or giving patterns. For instance, last year we informed everyone about the “AMAZON SMILE” program…for those who do any online shopping through Amazon.com. A small portion of each Amazon.com purchase is sent to Remnant Fellowship because we are a legally recognized and registered non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We would like to remind everyone on how this amazing feature works. There is no additional charge to you – it simply takes a percentage of what you are going to order and contributes it toThe Remnant.
TO USE THE AMAZON SMILE FEATURE:
1. Visit https://smile.amazon.com/ to create or sign into your Amazon account.
2. In the search bar type in Remnant Fellowship.
3. Then pick the Remnant Fellowship in Franklin Tn.
You are then signed up for Amazon Smile – and once you start shopping .5% of your purchases are given back to Remnant Fellowship!! Remember to Sign into smile.amazon.com every time you shop. If you use the regular amazon.com the benefits do not apply!!
Since we also have to go food food shopping we would like to make you aware that KROGER (Grocery Store) has a “Community Rewards Program” that is designed to benefit selected non-profit organizations as well. As a Church, we now are recognized in their system, and therefore we as MEMBERS of this Church can use any of our regular shopping (for those who shop at Kroger) to bless the Church…simply by signing up for the Program! Over TIME, these small increments/percentages that are allocated through such programs ADD UP! Note that you are not charged ANYTHING additional to do this. You are simply shopping at Kroger like you normally would.
So – Going forward, if you think you ever will shop at Kroger Stores, please follow the steps below to be registered in their system. Once you’ve finished that process, any shopping you do there…using your Kroger Plus card…will bless this Church going forward! TO USE THE KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM:
Simply encourage your members to register online at krogercommunityrewards.com
Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with your organization after you sign up.
If a member does not yet have a Kroger Plus card, please let them know that they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
Click on Sign In/Register.
Most participants are new online customers, so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions.
You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
Update or confirm your information.
Enter NPO number or name of organization, select organization from list and click on confirm.
To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
REMEMBER, purchases will not count for your group until after your member(s) register their card(s).
Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 800-576-4377, select option 4 to get your Kroger Plus card number.
Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.
